Nagrota, Mar 23: NC provincial president, Devender Rana has asked Mufti Sayeed to clear his stand on Article 370. He also accused the PDP of having a truck with the BJP which according to him was dangerous for state's secular foundations.
The problem with NC leaders is that they are unaware of the history of the state. NC has been secular when it suited its interests and communal when the situation demanded so.
On July 13, 1953 Sher-e-Kashmir had said: "The martyrs have prepared us for bigger sacrifices to achieve our freedom and our right of self-determination. If required, our youth would not desist from fighting a liberation war on the lines of Algerian people."...

The NC is contesting the Lok Sabha election only in the Valley as per the seat sharing formula reached with or imposed on the Congress. JAMMU, Mar 23: In a bid to revive its fortunes in Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency, the state wing of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is desperately looking up to the charisma of Narendra Modi, which has undoubtedly cast a spell across the country.
The saffron party which represented the prestigious seat in 1998 and 1999 had to face drubbing at the hands of Congress in general elections of 2004 and 2009.
After the demise of BJP's two-time winner Vaid Vishno Dutt Sharma, the party lost the seat first to National Conference in Bye-poll of 2002 and subsequently to Congress in general elections held in 2004 and again in 2009.
But the million dollar question remains ...

| | | | Has AAP any stake in J&K? | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: Does the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have any stake in Jammu and Kashmir? The answer is known to all. Unlike New Delhi and other parts of the country, AAP hasn't been able to raise issues of public importance of Jammu and Kashmir. This got evident during these months, when AAP never spoke a single word against the National Conference (NC) coalition government which perhaps is not corruption free. Not a single AAP leader managed to expose even one corruption case despite the fact that J&K was ranked top of the corrupt state list few years back. The AAP's sphere of action has remain limited to New Delhi and its adjoining states and now Narendra Modi's Gujarat an...
