Early Times in its December 11 had reported that Lone was facing pressure from senior leaders to come out of the Alliance due to betrayal by other constituents.
1/19/2021 11:10:17 PM
early times report jammu, Jan 19: Succumbing before pressure of his own party leaders Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone on Tuesday said his party was withdrawing from the Peoples' Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), saying there has been a breach of trust between the constituent parties, which was "beyond remedy". In its December 11 edition the Early Times had reported that Lone was facing intense pressure from senior leaders of his party to come out of the PAGD to protect the identity of his own party. It was all due to pressure from senior leaders that Sajad Lone has become inactive in activities of PAGD. Lone was appointed as spokesperson of PAGD and earlier he used to brief media persons. Reliable sources told the Early Times, most of senior leaders of the party were annoyed with the attitude of leaders of other constituents of PAGD during recently held District Development Councils (DDCs) elections. Mehbooba's move to avenge humiliation backfires
1/19/2021 11:08:57 PM
early times report jammu, Jan 19: Attempt of Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti to put up an united front in Kashmir to take on New Delhi has proved to be a failed experiment. According to the analysts, Peoples Conference, pulling out from the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration-an amalgam of Kashmir centric parties- is a big setback for Mehbooba as she had left no stone unturned to pit Kashmir against Jammu. "The PAGD was formed to fight for the so-called bigger cause but the so-called unity stands punctured. The PC pulled out from the alliance after the National Conference didn't respond to its allegations about its leaders fielding proxy candidates in the recently h...
