Jantar Mantar dharna
4/19/2016 12:14:03 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 18: If the BJP, the ABVP and other outfits of the so-called ultra nationalist and cultural RSS believe that the issue of the exodus of all the non-local NIT Srinagar students from Srinagar would die down in course of time, then it can be said that the Sangh Parivar is living in a fool's paradise or in a world of the past. It is not going to die down. Party not reclaiming 'equal share' in political posts
Resentment brewing within BJP afresh
4/19/2016 12:13:42 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 18: Notwithstanding the party having formed government with PDP after prolonged stalemate, all is not well within BJP. Resentment is now fresh for the fact that BJP is neither asserting nor reclaiming political posts, most of which are lying vacant at present. Fingers are also being raised as to why the senior BJP minister acted in a discriminatory manner in being selective over 'retention' of just three political appointees who were appointed last year in three different Boards. Sources said despite BJP having managed marginal increase in the number of berths in Council of Ministers this time, the senior leaders are silent over reclaiming the equitable sha...

'Take covert war to Pakistani soil'
Understanding new phase of violence in Kashmir
4/19/2016 12:12:52 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, April 18: Anyone watching the rising tempo of violence in Kashmir after the alleged molestation of a girl in Handwara will have noticed three things: One, it has begun almost as soon as the PDP-BJP Government was sworn in under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti. Clearly, the separatists and the anti-PDP political parties want to create a situation where the in-built political differences between the PDP and BJP can be widened further. Two, even though the girl has clearly stated before a magistrate that she was molested by local youth and not army, the violence has not abated. This suggests that the agitation is being stoked deliberately, and may not have genuine...
