Sending a word of caution to those who have been found on camera damaging the recently installed lane dividers, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Traffic Hemant Kumar Lohia said today that the so called ‘cream’ of the society should refrain from such acts as their activities are under scanner.

Monika Devi gave birth to a male baby in Doda district hospital about eight days back.
After she was discharged from hospital this afternoon, Monika's husband Vipan Kumar hired a Maruti van (JK06/2478) for their residence at Kundriyan, police sources said.

JAMMU, May 05: Violating ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in KG sub-sector of Poonch, Pak troops today targetted forward Indian posts with RPGs and medium and small fire.
Pak troops violated ceasefire and fired RPGs and resorted to small and medium arms fire on Kranti, Ravi and Nangi outposts in KG area, official sources said.
The fire came from Pakistan's Peepal, Pattal, Daku and Burji posts of 653 Mujahideen Regiment, the sources added.They fired 12 PRGs, over 500 MMG rounds, besides small arms fire, from 3 pm to 4 pm.
