The ongoing agitation over Amarnath land transfer row has cost whopping Rs 5,790 crore losses to Jammu region during the last 40 days.
This was disclosed by Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ram Sahai while talking to media persons at the sidelines of a press conference of Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti at Geeta Bhawan this afternoon.
Sahai disclosed that the industrial and tourism sectors are the worst affected due to prevailing unrest in the region.
