LAHDC elections: Leh BJP not ready to take help of Jammu based party leaders

Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 1: Although the BJP has released list of its candidates for all seats of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh elections, party leaders from Leh have bluntly told high command not to depute any leaders from Jammu for campaign as Jammu based leaders are facing ‘credibility deficit’. Credible sources said that Jammu based leaders have lost trust and faith of the people of Ladakh, especially those of Leh due to their ‘deceitful tactics’. It is all due to such ‘dirty tricks’ of Jammu based BJP leaders that Leh leadership has decided to make a distance from such ‘incredible’ party leaders from Jammu. Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 1: Coronavirus in the month of September has proved deadly and drastic for the residents of Jammu region as numbers of positive cases have jumped from 9022 to 29,971 during this month. Furthermore, the death toll has also increased from 70 to 342 in the same period of 30 days. From March 9-when first case of Covid was detected in Jammu, to September 1, total positive cases in Jammu province were 9022 but this number increased to 29,971 on September 30, means during the last 30 days over 20,000 cases reported in Jammu province. Ajay Sharma Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Oct 1: A big scam has come up in one of the Panchayats of this tehsil in Rajouri district as a brick kiln is running without renewal license. The owner of the brick kiln has been running the brick kiln without the consent of people for the past 26 years. Sources told Early Times that the brick kiln is functioning in residential area and people are suffering from different diseases due to the dust and smoke. Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 1: The Health Department in Rajouri and Poonch districts seems to be least bothered to keep track of patients diagnosed with asymptomatic COVID, who have been put under home quarantine as there is no follow up system being adopted by the department.
