Judiciary shows path for 'Reconciliation' in Ayodhya case v | Divide disputed land equally between 3 parties, maintain status quo for 3 months vRam idol to stay in central dome | | EARLY TIMES DESK
New Delhi, Sept 30: In a keenly awaited judgment, widely termed as fair and acceptable, the Allahabad High Court today ruled by a majority verdict that the disputed land in Ayodhya be divided equally into three parts among Hindus and Muslims and Nirmohi Akhara, the third litigant in the case and that the place where the makeshift temple of Lord Ram exists belongs to Hindus. But the status quo of the site would be maintained till it was divided.
The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has also dismissed the petition of the Sunni Waqf Board and said that the disputed site was the birth of Lord Ram and holds immense importance for Hindus.
In their separate judgements on the sensitive 60-year old title dispute on Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid structure, Justices S U Khan and Sudhir Agarwal said that the area under the central dome of the three-domed structure where Lord Ram's idol exists belongs to Hindus.
Bringing to an end the suspense over the 60-year-old Ramjanmbhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit case, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday...

| | Agencies across LOC responsible for hiccups in Indo-Pak talks | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 30: When on Wednesday morning Pakistani troops violated the seven-year old ceasefire in the Krishna Ghati area of Mendhar in Poonch district, injuring two Indian soldiers, it clearly indicated that there were agencies existing in Pakistan which continue to be inimical to the exercise on engaging Delhi and Islamabad in a meaningful and purposeful dialogue.
And whenever the two sides make a bid on discussing bilateral problems during talks agencies in Pakistan have been seen either encouraging troops to violate the ceasefire and pound the Indian posts and pickets on the LOC or on the International Border. It seems to be a routine programme. Not only this when...

| | Are the Jammu-based Congress ministers sleeping? | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30: The Congress is at the receiving end in Jammu, not because the Congress is weak but because the Jammu-based Congress ministers, including the Deputy Chief Minister, are not asserting their position. They are simply endorsing what the unreasonable and controversial National Conference has been doing ever since it captured the office of Chief Minister. It appears their only duty is to extend unflinching support to everything that the National Conference does and decisions it takes. It would be no exaggeration to say that the Jammu-based Congress leaders are dancing to the tunes of the National Conference, thus damaging the Congress party in Jammu, its very ...

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 30: The withering down of human life in right perspective has an ethical dispensation that always has an important family cliché supporting his or her journey past the last milestone.
It brings along collateral reasons standing besides that may devotedly help him transit into the next world. And these reasons and beliefs come from strong family bonds that yield into the passing phase.
However contemporary environs are totally contrasting..
The problems of the increasing population of the senior citizens should be addressed before it is too late. In the good old days, respect and honor were showered on old people.

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30 Ever since Barack Hussain Obama took over as the US president, he and his administration have been interfering in the internal affairs of India, which is an independent and sovereign country. Not that there was no American interference in the internal affairs of India before Obama became the US President. There was interference. In fact, ever since 1948, when Jawaharlal Nehru, at the behest of the then Governor-General of India, Lord Mountbatten, who did not enjoy ant plenipotentiary powers, took the issue of the Pakistani aggression on Jammu and Kashmir, the United States has been siding with Pakistan and giving it financial and military aid - aid...
