Mean while Bakshi Nagar police have lodged FIR against six persons involved in manhandling with DC Jammu MK Devidi and Additional Commissioner General Jammu,Rohit Khajuria. The manhandling incident occurred when on 9 October both top job officers visited to Rajneesh’s residence to offer condolence. As per sources FIR 174/09 under section 147, 148 and 353 RPC, has been lodged against six persons involved in manhandling and is ready to launch manhunt to arrest the culprits. SRINAGAR: In what could be bad news for nearly 38 lakh pre-paid mobile phone subscribers in Jammu and Kashmir, the Centre today said it may ban this service due to security reasons.
The announcement came from Union Home Minister P Chidambaram while replying to a query from an outstation journalist who is here in connection with the All India Editors' Conference organised by Press Information Bureau.
The move comes after several incidents were reported by security forces in which militants had used pre-paid mobiles purchased under fictitious names for communicating with one another.

A team of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers participated in a DIG-level meeting at the Wagah joint check post on the Pakistan side on Wednesday.
Mohammad Akil, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Border Security Force led the 11-member Indian team, while Brigadier Shifakat Ali Khan-headed the Pakistan Rangers' team at the meeting.
According to Akil, the meeting was part of a mutually agreed programme aimed at evaluating measures for managing border duties.

Beijing: Chinese premier Wen Jiabao indicated on Wednesday he wanted to discuss Sino-Indian differences with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Wen inquired from Murli Deora, the minister for petroleum & natural gas, if Singh will attend the meeting of the Association of South Eastern Nations in Thailand on October 23-25. India has made it clear to China it will only issue employment visas to its highly skilled workers and that it has decided against giving business visas, Home Minister P Chidambaram said on Wednesday.
"Chinese workers can come to India only on employment visa, no more on business visas," he told a press conference here.
"We are going to issue employment visas only to highly skilled workers and it do not apply only to Chinese workers but to other countries as well. We are not going to issue any visas to unskilled and semi-skilled workers as we have plenty of them in India," the Home Minister said.
