Police tonight acted mischievously when they arrested three staffers of Royal Bar at Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar, but let go two goons who
threatened them of dire consequences in case they demanded money from them.Two goons came to the bar at about 8.30 pm and had drinks. However, when they came out without making payment, bar staffers -- Jagdish Singh, Ravi Kumar and Jaidev Singh alias Kaka -- followed them and stopped them on the road outside.

SRINAGAR, Dec 24: Continuing pace of their strikes in the appletown of Sopore, militants today left four persons wounded in a rifle grenade attack on a CRPF formation. Army claimed to have killed one more Pakistani militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba in an encounter in the same area in north Kashmir.

Jammu, Dec 24: The people who demand abrogation of Article 370 do not know that in its present form it serves their interests. This is what a senior lawyer said during a discussion in a local hotel in the summer capital today.
Article 370 of the Indian constitution that guarantees special status to the state is widely discussed across Jammu Kashmir yet again. The Kashmiris have shown total indifference.
