| Private Schools "ridicule" CM's order; hold classes in icy winter..! | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 8: Making mockery of the order of none other than Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the management of number of private schools continues to hold classes in prevailing severe cold.
In wake of severe cold conditions prevailing in the entire region for the past over one week, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had ordered closure of Government and private schools from January 7th till January 12th. Ironically, number of private schools, notwithstanding the Chief Minister's order directed the students to continue with their respective classes.
Sources revealed that "though the school students from Class I to Class V have been excluded from attending the routine classes but the students of Class VI till Class X have been asked to attend the classes from 9.30 am onwards." "Furthermore, in an attempt to dodge the officials of Chief Education Officers and Zonal Education Officers, the respective school managements have further instructed the students not come in school uniforms as the same will get identified," sources further confirmed to Early Times.

Jammu, Jan 8: When the Law Minister, Ali Mohammad Sagar called all the standing counsels for a meeting last week, they thought the Minister wanted to discuss matters concerning various departments. However, to their dismay they were made to sit in a public meeting to cheer the Chief Minister who was in the winter capital to preside over a function organized by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. Pertinent to mention Sagar also hold the portfolio of the said department.
Some of the lawyers were angry and wanted to leave but the fear of losing their jobs made then brave the chill. They stayed back only to listen what Government had done during the past four years.

srinagar, Jan 8: In blatant contempt of orders of a competent court, SHO Police Station Khag in Budgam has refused to file an FIR despite clear direction from the court.
The court of Judicial Magistrate 1st class at Magam district Budgam directed in its order to SHO Police Station Khag to file an FIR regarding a case wherein a death certificate was issued in favour of a person in the year 2008, a year before he actually expired.
