Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 30: To get clues about the dirty money that exchanged hands in destrying evidence in Amandeep murder case, the Special Investigation Team led by SP Mubisser Latifi supervised by DIG Farooq Khan today arrested a Police Sub Inspector who is believed to be a close aide of the suspended SSP Manohar Singh. Meanwhile, a cop was today transferred to Murwah-Dechan area of Kishtwar for offering facilities to suspended SSP Manohar Singh in the lockup of Gandhi Nagar Police Station. The SIT and IGP Ashok Gupta are reported to have taken serious note of the cop offering amenities to an accused Police officer and therefore he was sent on a punishment posting, sources said.Sources said that the SIT arrested a Sub Inspector identified as Deedar Singh to elicit some information about of the money ex SSP is accused of having taken to tamper evidence and hatch conspiracy in Amandeep murder case. New Delhi, Sept 30: Home Minister P Chidambaram on Wednesday indicated that there was "progress" towards initiating talks with Kashmiri separatist groups but refused to give any details on the developments. He was responding to queries from reporters whether Home Ministry was going to resume the stalled talks with separatists including that with Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farroq. Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 30: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Wednesday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) not to share details of its probe into the rape and murder of two women near Shopian with the media but reveal it only to the court. 'The CBI should not reveal anything to the press about the investigations part of the Shopian case and should present status reports to the court,' a division bench of Chief Justice Barin Ghosh and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir observed. New Delhi, Sept 30: Air India pilots called off their five-day strike today following assurances from the civil aviation ministry that there would be no salary cuts. "We have received official communication from civil aviation minister (Praful Patel) and he himself has assured that there would be no salary cuts. So we immediately call off the strike," said Captain V.K. Bhalla, a senior executive pilot who was spearheading the strike. "We have no reason to not trust the civil aviation minister.
