| Yeddy versus Reddy reaches Vaishno Devi | | | | Early Times
Jammu/New Delhi,November 7
The embattled Chief Minister of Karnataka, Mr BS Yeddyurappa, visited the famed Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu today to pay obeisance amid mounting political crisis back in his far off State where his BJP peers are baying for his blood.
Fighting against the party revolt hoisted by mighty Reddy brothers back home in Banglore both Mr Yeddyurappa and his detractors have been camping in Delhi to seek the intervention of BJP higher ups to resolve the crisis.
When the crisis further worsened as Janardan Reddy and his iron ore mines tycoon brother remained unrelenting about allowing Mr Yeddyurappa to continue in the top State post, the beleaguered Chief Minister turned to gods. The BJP sources said in Delhi that the Chief Minister decided to offer prayers at Vaishno Devi and left for Jammu on an unscheduled visit.

Jammu, November 7, The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) officials have found that the Bharatgas LPG distributorship at police lines here has many shortcomings.
During an inspection a couple of months ago, a senior BPCL official wrote a detailed note on the logbook at the distributorship and asked for corrective measures to be initiated.
In a strongly worded inspection report, the official has pointed out that the LPG agency is not adhering to the norms laid down by the corporation.
To begin with, it has been written in the report that the agency is not equipped with a computer for the maintenance of necessary records.

Two more pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir died in holy cities of Makkah and Madina, taking the total toll of Indian Haj pilgrims to 23 from September 20.
Reports reaching here said a haji Ghulam Mohammad Alie died in a road accident at Makkah while one Mohammad Sabir Khan suffered a massive heart attack at Madina.
With this, a total of 23 Indian pilgrims, five of them from Jammu and Kashmir, died in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina since the pilgrims start arriving there from October 20.
