JAMMU, Dec 19: In yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan to help infiltration, one jawan of Border Security Force (BSF) was killed while two others survived with grievous injuries when Pak troops resorted to unprovoked firing on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch this morning.
Some jawans of 47 BN of BSF were on routine guard duty on the forward Kranti Post in Krishna Ghati when small arms fire came from the side of Taku Post of Pakistan at
about 10.30 am, wounding three of them. he injured -- Mukesh Chand, S. Gagoi and Pawan Kumar were swiftly removed to a safer location inside the post by other jawans manning the post. They were later evacuated to a Army Hospital, Poonch. Following
deterioration in his condition, Mukesh was later referred to Military Hospital, Jammu, for advanced treatment.
Police sources said Mukesh succumbed to his injuries soon after his admission to the Military Hospital here.Sources said the Pak firing was totally unprovoked. It

| Ruling NC leader among killed in Kashmir | | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Dec 19 : A ruling National Conference (NC) leader was among two persons killed in south Kashmir, official sources said here today.
They said unidentified gunmen showered bullets on Mohammad Iqbal Dar, a haqla president at Dangerpora in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
Dar was immediately shifted to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Gunmen also shot dead another person Nazir Ahmad Chopan at Kadipora in the same district.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for their killing, they said adding police and security forces have launched a massive drive against the killers.

Jammu, Dec 19: A popular religious leader from Pakistan, who was arrested by police two weeks back, has admitted to be an ISI agent.
Babu Shah alias Munawar, 37, travelled on a valid visa through Wagah in August this year and stayed in Poonch for around four months.He even got married to a local girl to allegedly avoid any kind of suspicion.
“He married a local girl here who has been married to a militant leader. That militant leader is now in Pakistan,” says SSP Poonch, Manmohan Singh.
