| | Abdullah dynasty becomes irrelevant in Kashmir | Ignominious defeat | | Neha
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 29: The election results in Jammu and Kashmir on December 23 have established that the Abdullah dynasty, which dominated the state's political scene for decades, has become almost irrelevant even in the Kashmir's fractured political arena. It is not an exaggeration; it's a statement of fact and can be easily verified.
How did the electorates in Sonawar, Beerwah and Gulmarg treat NC working president and the then Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his outspoken and essentially anti-India uncle and the Sheikh Abdullah's son Mustafa Kamaal? An answer to this question would prove the point that the Abdullah dynasty has lost all its sheen and appeal and be... | |
