Mustafa's latest "fatwa" on PDP, Azad | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: Whether ideas chase senior National Conference leader, Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, or he is hunting for new ideas is not as important as the content of his ideas is. Kamaal had built a reputation of being the most reticent, sober and seasoned politician who would refrain from commenting on any issue under the sky even when he was asked to comment.
However, during the last over six months Kamaal has experienced major transformation. He is no longer reticent. He is no longer reluctant in commenting on any issue, political, economic, comic or melodramatic, even if he is not asked for his comment.

| | What Abdullahs didn't do, Mufti did in 3 years for Poonch | | | Salil Raina
Jammu, Apr 21: Abdullahs during their tenure failed to do justice with Poonch district as they successively befooled the masses with their sweet speeches filled with butter and jam and the poor and innocent public of Poonch were trapped by their sugary speeches during elections. Now the people of Poonch have realized that they did a big blunder by voting such persons to power in the past.
District Poonch which has its own golden history before 1947, suffered a lot as far as development is concerned by successive State Governments after Independence. Even after six decades of independence, Poonchites are considered as people from far flung areas. The question arises, who did ...

Jammu, Apr 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah did a right thing by acknowledging that the shifting of the Durbar (Civil Secretariat) between Jammu and Kashmir twice every year is "wastage of money". "Do I think the 'Durbar move' (shifting of capital) is a waste of money? Yes I do. Is there an alternative? I haven't seen a viable alternative suggested," Omar on Thursday wrote on the micro-blogging site twitter.com. In response to a tweet from his follower, Omar also said the Durbar move practice was "escapist". "I agree. We run away when people need us most and (they) face the most difficulty. The Durbar move is escapist," he wrote.

| | Congrats Omar for localising bunkers- a step towards administrative reforms | | | Bashir Assad
srinagar, Apr 21: What a brilliant idea it is to localise the bunkers by replacing paramilitary CRPF by the Jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Police. The inaugural ceremony of this replacement function was even more fantastic as all the roads leading to historical Lal Chowk were sealed that day by the men in uniform- a practice that would foil the Lal Chowk Challo calls given by separatists in the past.
Remnant ground floor of Palladium Cinema, not visible till yesterday was the source of attraction for passers-by on Saturday as the huge paramilitary CRPF bunker (perhaps the biggest one in Srinagar city) erected of sand and mud bags was demolished the day before.

| | Azad harmed Jammu more as compared to other CMs | Creation Of New Districts | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21: Addressing a public meeting at Phinter Playground, Billawar, Kathua, on April 18, Union Health Minister and former JKPCC president Ghulam Nabi Azad boasted that it was he who created more districts in the State and met the age-old demand of the people seeking creation of more districts. He also said that he went beyond what the Wazir Commission had recommended and asserted that Billawar would get status of district only if the Congress party is at the helm of affairs in the State.
The crux of Azad's whole argument was that he belongs to Jammu and that he did much for the people of this province. It is an exaggerated statement. The fact is that he harmed t...
