He has also hinted at going to Assembly polls alone. People close to Azad informed Early Times that despite repeated attempts from NC leadership in general and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in particular, Azad has categorically refused to campaign for NC-Congress alliance candidates Dr Farooq Abdullah and Sharif-ud-din Shariq in their central and North Kashmir Parliamentary constituencies.
