Irate mob today attacked on doctors at Government Hospital Sarwal alleging them responsible for the death of a patent, Rajesh Gupta.
The mob forcibly entered the hospital and reportedly damaged property in the premises. The irate mob also tried to manhandle the medical superintendent of the hospital.
A couple of days back Rajesh Gupta (24) was admitted in the hospital for surgery but during operation the vein of the patient received a cut and he started bleeding. Jaish-e- Mohammed outfit today suffered a major blow when the Security Forces on Saturday gunned down five militants of the outfit at Lurgam Tral in South Kashmir Pulwama district , during an encounter lasting for few hours.
Acting on specific information regarding the presence of militants in village Lurgam, Police, CRPF and Army launched a joint operation and cordoned off the area.
As the troops reached the targeted place, militants hiding inside a house, opened indiscriminate firing, which was duly retaliated. In the ensuing encounter five militants holed up in the house were gunned down.
