| Tainted Alok all set to re-join JK Police | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 5: Tainted Alok Kumar, a 1977 batch IPS of JK cadre is all set to stage a comeback to Jammu Kashmir.
Alok after serving the state of Jammu & Kashmir in various capacities went on deputation to his parent state in 2010. After serving as SSP Railways Jamalpur for a brief period he managed posting as SSP Patna. Soon after, he was promoted as DIG because of his father's affiliation with Ram Vilas Paswan, the leader of the Lok Jan Shakti Party.
As DIG Saran, he strained his relations with the liquor mafia and demanded Rs 10 Crore from them. However, the mafia proved too strong for him and he was placed under suspension on February 5, this year. A high level enquiry was also ordered against him.
In April this year the enquiry recommended further suspension and urged the government of Bihar not to allow him to leave the state, he was attached with ADJ military Police.

Jammu, Sept 5: Two more suspects were lifted by police for questioning during investigations into alleged sexual exploitation of mentally retarded girls in a an NGO here. They have been identified as Lalita and GL Koul, both employees in the NGO. Police were already questioning Director of the NGO Suram Chand Sharma and Chowkidar namely Angat Kumar, who were lifted as prime accused.
SSP Jammu Attul Kumar Goel when contacted said that four suspects are being questioned.He further said that policemen have been deployed in the premises of NGO and the re-examination of the girls would be conducted.
