Backdoor appointees in LA likely to face job-threat in new UT 9/7/2019 11:31:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 7: The much publicized backdoor appointments took place in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (LA) during the tenure of three successive Speakers, is likely to haunt the beneficiaries of these scandals, as in the new Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, they are unlikely to be continued before conclusion of the enquiries. Reliable sources informed Early Times that during the tenure of successive elected state governments, number of backdoor appointments was made and despite repeated complaints and enquiries, no action was taken against the beneficiaries as well as their godfathers. "But after the formal coming of new Union Territory of the Jammu and Kashmir, the law enforcement agencies, which have been conducting the inquiries or have completed the inquiries against these appointments scandals, have to reach a conclusion and the government would have to take a call on the inquiry reports before giving a go-ahead to these backdoor appointees to continue their services", sources said.
