| Congress splits face before PM | | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Apr 26
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Congress is known for organizational disarray but it was never known that the one-upmanship was so deep.
While the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was busy with the Prime Minister, the rest of the Congress indulged in lobbyism instead of putting a united face before the Prime Minister. While some party leaders asserted their independent identities before the Prime Minister others tried to do so but ended in humiliation.
It was one party but three delegations were drawn from it who met the Prime Minister. The party leaders could have reflected an example of organizational discipline if all of them had met the Prime Minis... | |
