Rank and file blames leadership of apathy, shortsightedness | NC cadre a disgruntled, discouraged, demoralized lot | | Abodh Sharma
JAMMU, Mar 4: Once counting on the strength and reach of its cadre across the regions of the state, the National Conference especially in Jammu has left its cadre disgruntled, directionless and discouraged. Many who have remained loyal to the party since ages are blaming the leadership and its policies for the apparent doom.

"Generally many new faces join a political party while it is in power, but on the contrary, NC not only failed to invite fresh recruits, it lost seasoned and tested loyalists during its tenure in Government," he added.
"The Youth National Conference that was a force to reckon with has lost its face and relevance due to perpetual apathy of the senior leadership," said a former office bearer of the youth wing of the party. Raising a direct finger on the provincial leadership, he said,...

| | Sports infrastructures concentrated within Boundary wall of MA stadium | State Sports Council ignores rural talent | | Bivek Mathur
Jammu, Apr 4: State government as well as Sports council, it seems, are focusing only on city based talent in different sports activities as majority of the sports infrastructures are being constructed within city limits ignoring budding talents in the peripherals.
Much to the amazement is the fact that majority of the new infrastructure is being constructed after a long wait of Jammuites, as the one constructed earlier was either not up to the standard specifications or outlived its life and now when government has given its nod for the construction/upgradation of the infrastructure, its focus is again city-centric ignoring the rural population of even basic sports facilitie...
