MS Nazki POONCH, Oct 3: In the heavy Pak shelling and firing, that resumed after a lull of over 40 hours, a girl was today killed and four others were wounded on the Line of Control (LoC) in Sabzian sub-sector of Poonch. Eight persons were injured in the Pak shelling and firing in Sabzian sub-sector on Wednesday night. There was no firing yesterday but Pakistan, without any provocation, resorted to heavy shelling and firing this afternoon, targeting forward Indian posts and residential areas along the LoC in Sabzian area. Official sources said Pakistan opened heavy volume of fire, followed by shelling, at about 2 pm. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued two separate orders according to which it has been explicitly made clear that Sunday would be an off day from October 5 and that salary of all the employees would be released even if they have rejoined or resumed their duties on September 30, 2014. M S Nazki POONCH, Oct 2: A BSF Headconstable bled to death after he got trapped in the rolls of concertina wire near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mandi sub-sector of Poonch during Wednesday night. Official sources said BSF HC and operator Balbir Singh was working on the border fencing in a forward Mandi area when he slipped and fell into the sharp concertina wire. By the time, other BSF personnel rescued him and shifted him to hospital, he had suffered a huge loss of blood, the sources added. He later died.
