| Pvt school teacher, 12-year-old held in alleged rape cases | | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 21:
A private school teacher and a 12-year-old boy were today arrested by police in alleged rape cases.
Police sources said Jatin Kohli, a private school teacher and KAS aspirant, of Maheshpura was working as a teacher in Krishna Public School at Bakshi Nagar for the past some time.
He, however, went on leave about a month ago to prepare for KAS exams. Sunaina (14) of Bakshi Nagar, who studied in 10th class in his school, went missing from home about three days back.
Sources said Sunaina was found lying unconscious near Jatin's house at Maheshpura today. After the matter came to their notice, cops rushed to the spot and removed the girl to the GMC Hospital.
When she regained senses, she allegedly told police that she had been kept illegally by her teacher in his house.
Acting on the girl's statement, police raided Jatin's residence and arrested him. He was booked under sections 363 and 376 of RPC, the sources added.

Police sources said Brij Mohan, his son Sourab and other family members left Jammu this morning for Kishtwar in their car to have darshans of Sarthal Mata.However, when the family reached Kandni, few kilometres short of Kishtwar town, Sourab, a BCA student, expressed desire to attend call of nature, the sources added.

Jammu, Mar 21: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Congress Sunday said it was still undecided on the issue of alliance with National conference for the civic polls to be held in the state soon.
"The policy with regard to participation in elections by the Congress will be devised and announced shortly," JKCC President Saifuddin Soz said.
He said the party has constituted two committees, one each for Jammu and Kashmir. These committees have been asked to identify suitable candidates for contesting elections.
