EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 20: The Disciplinary Action Committee of BJP has once again put on hold its final decision to be taken against the 7 suspended MLAs who are facing proceedings in the cross voting issue. The report is said to be ready and will be submitted to national president Nitin Gadkari after the panel holds one more meeting.The panel held its meeting today in which matters related to cross voting were deliberated upon in a fresh manner after recording the versions of the four MLAs who have been given clean chit by the party. The next date of the meeting has again not been specified by the Commitee. "The Disciplinary commitee is continuing with its process and examining the matter while considering all key aspects........but the process is not yet complete", said OP Kohli, chairman of the panel while speaking to ET. The matter was discussed in a threadbare manner today but in my opinion we need at least one more sitting to give final touch to the report, Kohli added. EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 20: In a case of sanctioning of Rs 1 cr loan by state financial corporation (SFC) allegedly in violation of rules, state vigilance organisation (SVO) today carried out simultaneous raids on the houses of a brother of Nago and a close relative. The SVO sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of Nago's brother Rakesh Choudhary and relative Ritesh Gupta, according to SVO sources. Raids were also conducted on their GI pipes factory at Mishriwala, the sources added. EARLY TIMES REPORT Rajouri, May 20 In a mine explosion at Makki Forward Post in Poonch district, a 12 years old child has been seriously injured who have been shifted to Medical College Jammu for intensive treatment. Defense sources said that a child Ashiq Husain , 4th class student in Kadmara School Poonch has received serious injures when he was trapped in a mine blast near Makki Post. EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 20: Sub-judge Mohammad Rafiq Chak today rejected the bail application of Dr Avinash Soodan who allegedly beat up an atendant in ward No 15 of GMC hospital here on May 14 last. Dr Avinash was alleged to have kicked Nazir Ahmad in his stomach and on other body parts after he had approached him for the treatment of her daughter who had been bitten by a snake. The night changed the hamlet for good. The darknight ended but did not bring any light for the hapless people who were held hostage.
