| Law Department has repealed Rules on its website | | Omar's e-governance misguiding public? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah leaves no stone unturned to highlight the achievements of his Government . During his public rallies Omar talks about e governance, CM's grievance cell , Public Service Guarantee Act and RTI Act which he claims are the major achievements of his Government.
When Omar Abdullah took over as Chief Minister of this state people thought that he is young, dynamic and energetic and computer savvy but after five years the state seems to be going back instead of making progress in various fields.
A new version of Right to Information Act (J&K RTI Act 2009) was enacted by Omar Abdullah led Government in March 2009 and its rules were formulated after a year in 2010 but shockingly the Law Department seems to be totally ignorant about the laws and rules. It has three links J&K RTI Act 2009 , J&K RTI Rules 2009 and Voluntary Disclosure under JK RTI Act 2009 on its website .
First of all the Law Department must know that no RTI rules were formulated in 2009, it was the J&K RTI Act 2009 which was enacted in March 2009 and its rule...

| Sonia Gandhi likely to attend rally, Azad arriving on Dec 6 | | Countering Lalkar rally: Cong readying for massive 'show' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: In less than a week after BJP's Lalkar rally, Congress is readying itself for a rather similar show of strength in the winter capital with none else than its president Sonia Gandhi to address the rally, the date and venue of which would be decided soon. The rally almost on same pattern is aimed to give the rival an answer to the euphoria it managed to generate with Modi wave but more than that its urgency is being felt to boost the morale of the party workers and cadres that has received a psychological dent, also on account of the pattern of voting and projections in exit polls in the 4 crucial states.
Sources said Congress is gearing up a massive show of...

Jammu, Dec 4: The BJP, which is being targeted by all the Kashmir-based and Valley-centric parties, including NC, Congress, CPI-M, JDU, SP and so on for demanding debate on Article 370 has stepped up its attack on the supporters of this Article and described Article 370 as a "wall of hatred". It has also rejected its opponents' view that Article 370 is a bridge between Jammu and Kashmir and rest of India and that its demolition would mean end of the state's accession with India.
"I reject outrightly the regressive and divisive view of the NC, the Congress and the CPI (M) that Article 370 was a bridge and to demolish it would mean de-accession of the state from India. Ar...

| | | | Where is the signed so-called Delhi Agreement? | | Beg preaching falsehood | | | Neha
Jammu, Dec 4: NC MP Mehboob Beg on December 3 spoke a white lie while participating in a TV debate on Article 370. His interventions were nothing but a bundle of lies. There was none in the programme who could expose his lies and attempts at misleading the people. Beg took advantage of the situation and spoke nothing but lies taking all the co-panelists for a ride. Beg, for example, said that Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Jammu and Kashmir Wazir-e-Azam Sheikh Abdullah had signed an agreement in 1952 about the political future of the state. He called it Delhi Agreement of 1952. It was a false statement.
There exists no signed Delhi agreement as a known India-baiter Beg cl...
