Srinagar, Dec 6: A day after former Inspector General of Crime branch Raja Aijaz Ali revealed that late National Conference worker Haji Mohammad Yusuf was interrogated at Chief Minister's residence in Srinagar for 3-hours, the family members of the dead NC worker today blamed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, his close aides Nasir Aslam Wani, Devender Singh Rana and CM's Personal Security Officer Shabir Ahmad for Yusuf's alleged custodial death and sought the intervention of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi into the matter.
Addressing a news conference here Haji Yusuf's son Talib Hussain said: "Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah accusing former IG Crime Branch and PDP candidate from Uri constituency, Raja Ajaz Ali in connection with the death of my father and counter revelations made by the former IG Crime have made it clear that Haji sahib was murdered by Omar and his close associates at his residence."
