Jammu, Apr 19: It sounds hypocritical that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has suddenly sounded alarm and urgency over Temples and Shrines Bill by bringing about an Ordinance after discussing it in the Cabinet anytime soon now. The irony is that Government is showing such sense of urgency and trying to show that it is not only sincere but also concerned over the issue, perhaps more than the community itself whereas the fact remains it actually simply chose to ignore and put it in the dust bin in the Assembly session which concluded just 10 days back.

The huge rush of patients to SKIMS and the lack of manpower to handle the rush at various counters is something that has added to the miseries of the visiting patients. On an average 2000 patients visit SKIMS daily and most of them come from remote areas of Kashmir valley.
