EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 17: Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat has revealed that de-radicalization camps are operating in the country to isolate the people who are completely radicalized. In his address at the Raisna Dialogue while referring to situation in Kashmir the CDS said that young girls and boys as young as 10 and 12 years are being radicalized in the Valley and it’s a matter of concern. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “Young boys and girls being radicalized in Kashmir has been discussed widely but it’s for the first time that any top officer has admitted that there are de-radicalization camps in the country and the completely radicalized elements are being counseled.” He said, “Besides exporting terrorism our neighbouring country has also exported radicalization to our country. Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 17: Forest fires appear to be taking a heavy toll on the green gold as over 65,000 kanals of forest land have been destroyed for the last six years. In absence of boundaries and proper fencing, an official said live stock of the surrounding areas go on a grazing spree in upper reaches of forests resulting in habitat degradation.
