| | Who will Dogras vote for in coming municipal elections? | | | Neha
JAMMU, Jan 15: As for Leh in the Cold-Desert Ladakh, the people there would have the choice between the Congress and those fighting for Union Territory status for the region. The NC will also field its candidate in many wards, but it is unlikely to perform well because of local factors. It would come out of the exercise minus everything. It may capture a handful of wards. The BJP also has its support-base confined to a few pockets and, hence, it may see its candidates through in a few wards. But basically it would be a fight between the Congress and the protagonists of Union Territory status.
