BUDGAM, Mar 26: The maiden election rally of National Conference for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in this Central Kashmir district subjected the people who visited the district headquarters in connection with their own work to numerous hardships.
The election rally came no less than a shock for the majority of the people. Nobody reached to the destination for which they had left their homes so early. Cops deployed in full strength near the Deputy Commissioner's office could be seen enforcing the diversion of traffic via Karipora.

Srinagar, Mar 26: A local court here has declared 14 absconding accused persons as proclaimed offenders. The accused include students and parents.
The Special Anti-Corruption Court Judge Kashmir M L Manhas issued the written proclamation after Crime Branch moved a motion to this effect.
"After taking the evidence on record in terms of the statements of executing agency on oath, this court has reason to believe that 14 accused against whom general warrants of arrest under section 512 CrPC have been issued, have absconded or are concealing themselves, so warrants issued against them could not be executed," the Court observed.
