Yet another mysterious page has been added to Jammu Kashmir’s beleaguered history. Justice remains a casualty. He also made identical statements while talking to a Kashmir-based media person a day later. There is a point when the assertive Prof Soz beams with confidence and says that there is no f...

1/24/2010 11:44:58 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 24: If all goes as planned at New Delhi’s 24-Akbar Road, the recent Jammu visit of Union Minister Prithviraj Chavan could well end as his last to Jammu and Kashmir as Congress General Secretary incharge of this state. The politics in Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Congress has remained all heat and boil during the tenure of Chavan and it was during his times that divide deepened between Ghulam Nabi Azad and Saifuddin Soz lobbies. Chavan had replaced Ambika Soni as AICC General Secretary in-charge Jammu and Kashmir affairs in 2004. Soni would always favour Azad while Chavan put Soz ahead. Prithviraj Chavan is among seven of the nine total general secretar...
