The Dy SP (Headquarters) Poonch who is also the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the District Police Office, Poonch had earlier denied the information by invoking section 8 of J&K RTI Act 2009 (information would directly affect the integrity and sovereignty of India) . The incident took place when the construction work of the new block of banquet hall was in progress.
