| | | | After fielding candidates in Kashmir, NC for pre-poll alliance with Congress | | 2014 General Election | | | Rustam
JAMMU, Dec 18: Strange is the National Conference's concept of coalition dharma. First it declares the names of its three candidates for all the three Lok Sabha constituencies in the Kashmir valley and then proposes a pre-poll alliance with the Congress. Only the other day, NC president and Union Minister for Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah, himself one of the three nominees, declared that the NC and the Congress would contest the upcoming general election together and not separately. A few days ago, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had also virtually suggested at Nagrota that it would be desirable if the NC and the Congress contested the coming elections together and he had made this ...

JAMMU, Dec 18: A section of Kashmiri leadership is insulting the people of Jammu province and Ladakh region by putting forth outrageous formulations and trying to impose its sinister and communal will on the unwilling people of these two historically, politically, culturally and ethnically distinct regions. It is saying that the "people of Kashmir have always been conscious of their identity and the history bears witness to the fact that the people here have prioritized the secular principles" and that "our state is unique wherein we have constitution within the constitution and we have to preserve the identity of the state".

While the foundation stones mislead the gullible public, the saner elements know what...
