How else should one interpret the Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi's today statement that the BJP has raked up the issue of Article 370 to politicize it and polarize the society in Jammu and Kashmir?

| | | | J&K is not Omar's parental estate: RSS | | | | Neha
JAMMU, May 28: The RSS has reacted very sharply to the provocative and divisive statement that J&K will go out of India and the people of the state will be further alienated from the national mainstream if Article 370 is repealed. Article 370 is a temporary provision and was adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly way back in the late 1940s at the behest of Sheikh Abdullah, grandfather of Omar Abdullah. And the discredit for the incorporation of Article 370 in the Indian Constitution goes to Jawaharlal Nehru, who, like the Sheikh and similar other Kashmiri leaders, considered J&K not an integral part of India to the same extent as other states of the Union and whose whole approach ... | |
