Jammu, Sept. 4: In order to crack down on the alleged nexus between doctors and private diagnostic laboratories to fleece the poor patients, about 288 doctors including HoDs of GMC and SMGS hospitals and 4 major diagnostic laboratories have been identified by the committee of officers constituted by government for the purpose.
The list is reportedly all set to submit before Chief Minister Secretariat for further action while the process was on, the Deputy Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital under order No SMGSH/PA/12/26878, demanding action against alleged illegal labs namely Sharma Lab, Life Care Lab, Dr Lal Lab and Shree Lab, outside SMGS Hospital Jammu lodged a complaint to DC Jammu stating that these labs are looting poor patients admitted in the hospital. JAMMU, Sept 4: Chief Secretary Madhav Lal's refusal to approve annual plans of operations (APOs) of Compensatory Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) has more to do with pouring in of reports of loot and plunder of forest wealth from various parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
These disturbing reports are reaching Civil Secretariat without any break despite the introduction of CAMPA, said the sources. SRINAGAR, Sept. 4 : On completion of its third year of operation today, Awaz-e-Awam, the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister's Grievance Cell has disposed off 16055 complaints. Cell was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Omer Abdullah at Civil Secretariat on September 4, 2009.
"Since 2009, the cell has received 17292 grievances from which 16055 has been disposed off and 1237 have been sent to the concerned authorities for necessary action till date", Ram Sevak Deputy Secretary JK Grievance Cell said.
