Jehangir Rashid SRINAGAR, Oct 20: Interference from ministers and politicians continues to play havoc with the functioning of Housing and Urban Development Department in the state and stage is all set to add more mess to the department. Sources told Early Times that the department is all set to post the tainted officers who were reinstated in the month of August. The likely posting of the tainted officers has caused heartburns among the employees of the department who say that the move would spoil the working of department. "Tainted and corrupt officials have always brought a bad name to the department, but still then the state government is contemplating to give important assignments to these people. Their reinstatement in the first place was a wrong decision and the government is set to take yet another wrong decision by assigning them important positions," said sources.
