Despite odds ET is on top of net | Tum teer aazmao hum jigar aazmayain | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 19: Nothing is impossible. As far as Early Times (ET) is concerned the adage proved true since the paper has achieved a rare feat of receiving maximum responses (hits) on the internet among all the Jammu based ‘giant’ newspapers including English and Hindi dailies.
It is indeed an achievement for Early Times, which started its journey only nine years back.
According to Alexa (www.alexa.com), an Internet service that measures how many Internet users visit a website, the Early Times’ website is the most visited site among the local newspapers of the state. At Alexa.com, people can enter a website address and Alexa will show them how well-visited the website is.
Amazingly even Editor, Early Times, Mr Munish Gupta’s age is less than some of the popular and established English as well as other vernacular dailies being published from Jammu.
Though the Early Times is growing by leaps and bounds since its inception in 2001, probably it is the only newspaper in the state which has faced continuous official wrath on one occasion or the other.
