Jammu, Mar 9: Is corruption really an election issue in Jammu and Kashmir? Would the fate of the contestants in 2014 Lok Sabha elections in the State be decided on corruption issues? Would the corrupt and nepotic politicians finally find their exit during these elections?
Euphemistic and simple questions. Perhaps every voter will claim to know the answers and so would all the political analysts, pollsters, soothsayers and newsmen.
The fact, however, remains that it is not clear yet and it might not be clear till the results are out to know whether corruption is really a poll issue in the State.
Corruption has not only become a part and parcel of the routine dealing...

Jammu, Mar 9: As budget session of Assembly came to close last week, Civil Secretariat once again presents a dull and deserted look with most of the ministers staying away from their seats of power. After attending over a month long budget session which was loaded with hectic schedule of the proceedings and business, a 'break' is well deserved for the 'tired' lot. Model Code of Conduct on account of Parliamentary polls too came handy to avoid and keep away the people who would normally come pestering on various fronts.
There is a 'reason' to say their 'works' cannot be done on this account which is why the number of visitors to Secretariat has also thinned down consi...
