Jammu, Mar 18: Tall claims of Jammu and Kashmir Police of having state of the art anti cyber crime cell to tackle cyber crimes in state have turned out to be hoax as it has failed to detect and act against elements who spread communal hatred and anti national agenda using these social networking sites.
In a bid to tackle the menace of growing cyber crime, Jammu and Kashmir Police in the year 2012 established two special cyber cells in Jammu and Srinagar, but the initiative has proved to be an exercise in futility as they have failed to check the anti India rant on the social networking sites like "Facebook" and "twitter".

| | | | Pro-Cong, pro-NC wave blowing in J&K, says Azad | | Election Scene | | | Rustam
jammu, Mar 18: Senior Congress leader and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad asserted the other day while addressing a public meeting in Rajouri district that a strong pro-Congress and pro-National Conference (NC) wave is sweeping the state and that the coalition would win all the six Lok Sabha seats. He is a leader of a political party and it's natural that he would make such claims. After all, he has to keep the morale of the otherwise demoralized Congress supporters and cadres high. Hence, what he said should be viewed in this context.
Is a pro-Congress and pro-NC wind blowing in the state? Has the coalition done anything substantial during its more than five-year rule tha...

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 18: Even as the Lok Sabha elections are drawing closer, the National Conference (NC) leaders are trying their best to project Omar's regime as a golden era of development. However, the ground situation narrates an entirely different story.
The truth about National Conference led coalition Government's developmental activities came to fore in June, 2011 when Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram visited the summer capital. He was told that no developmental work could be undertaken last year due to unrest. How...
