Jammu, Dec 21: In first ever major shake up in the J&K Police Department the NC led coalition government today effected transfers and postings of senior officers, some of them of the rank of IPS including IGPs and DIGs. The reshuffle that witnessed transfers andnew postings of as many as 84 officers also incorporates shifting of some SSPs and SPs at the district level.

JAMMU, Dec 21: In the much publicized murder case of Chopra Family, Principal Sessions Judge Jammu AK Shan today adjourned the case for arguments on January 11, 2011.
The murder of cement Tycoon RB Chopra and his wife Madhu Chopra, daughter Saloni Chopra, Servant Sonu and driver Jagan Nath, on September 18, 2006. A Special Investigation team was constituted.
