rajouri, Oct 7: A businessman of Mandi area of Poonch district suffered a loss of more than 40 lakhs as his house, cash and jewelry turned into ashes when his house caught fire due to short circuit. The fire service could not save anything just at half a kilometer because there was no approach to reach the area due to lakh of bridge.
Sources said that a house belonging to Abdul Aziz son of Mohammad Ramzan in village Azamabad in Mandi tehsil caught fire due to short circuit following which whole of the house collapsed and turned into ashes within hours. Although no loss of life was reported.

SRINAGAR, Oct 7: At least three students were today injured as protesters pelted stones at school buses at two places in Kashmir, where the separatist-sponsored strike disrupted life with shops and business establishments in the main markets closed and public transport off the roads.
A group of youths pelted stones at a State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) bus, carrying students of a private school, at Zindshah Masjid in Rainawari locality of downtown Srinagar this afternoon, a police spokesman said.
