Jammu, Dec 7: A peon turned politician from Rajouri district in connivance with a few officials of the Ministry of Textiles Government of India allegedly swindled government funds worth crores meant for undertaking various developmental programmes for the poor artisans in the Rajouri district.

Srinagar, Dec 7: A CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) trooper sustained minor injuries after militants hurled a grenade on a school building in which the forces were camping for poll duty in South Kashmir's Noorpora Tral area.
Official sources said that the militants this evening hurled a grenade at the E-Coy of 508 Central Industrial Security Forces near Higher Secondary School in Noorpora village of the volatile Tral.
