Acting in what can be seen as mandatory step by step process in such matters as per the constitution of the party, the Parliamentary Board finally suspended the 7 MLAs who stand identified by the central leadership for cross voting act after taking into cognizance the ‘substantial evidence’ it had gathered establishing their involvement. The show cause notices have been served to them so that could explain their position as to why they defied the party whip and voted in favour of the coalitio...

STARK REALITY RUSTAM EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 20: J&K acceded to India on October 26, 2011. Delhi committed blunder that very day itself by involving the then NC president and a known protagonist of greater autonomy and bitter critic of the Jammu Dogras, Sheikh Abdullah, overlooking the fact that he had no locus standi in the matter. New Delhi did all this to humble Maharaja Hari Singh, a democrat of democrats and great Indian who had played a magnificent role in the roundtable conference in London it the beginning of the fourth decade of the twentieth century, organized to find ways and means to involve the Indians in the country’s law-making processes and executive. If the Dogras of Jammu had protested on the certificate issue, they would have been justified. Dogras are a small section.” The report is both positive and negative. Positive because the Chief Minister has called the Geelani’s bluff and negative because he has said the “Dogras are a small section.” Dogras are not a small section as compared to the ethnic Kashmiris.
