The Sainik Cooperative House Building Society (SCHBS) custodian of the colony is believed to have facilitated the deal for the politician in order to appease him and to get his ashirwad. According to documents available with Early Times, the BJP leader registered a piece of land under his name in Sector-B of the Sainik Colony. "Whereas the party of the second part has decided to transfer his plot no. 115 in sector B to the party third, in terms of transfer of land and membership to the BJP leader (name withheld). Whereas the managing committee of the party of the first part, has granted permission for the transfer of all rights and interests of the party of the second part i.e. Deepak Sharma, son of Subash Chander Sharma in favour of the third party (the BJP leader)," reads a copy of the lease deed dated January 6, 2016.
