Avinash Azad Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29: A senior BJP leader has used his "influence" to buy a plot at Sainik Colony here, exclusively meant for defence personnel. The Sainik Cooperative House Building Society (SCHBS) custodian of the colony is believed to have facilitated the deal for the politician in order to appease him and to get his ashirwad. According to documents available with Early Times, the BJP leader registered a piece of land under his name in Sector-B of the Sainik Colony. "Whereas the party of the second part has decided to transfer his plot no. 115 in sector B to the party third, in terms of transfer of land and membership to the BJP leader (name withheld). The state is under Governor’s Rule after the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed on January 7 last.
