A day before filing of nominations for Legislative Council Elections on February 18 when National Conference took 11 nomination papers from the returning Officer in the Assembly Secretariat, it took everyone by surprise as to on what basis this move was based. Party sources said Omar Abdullah was away in London when the date of LC polls was announced.
