SRINAGAR, Apr 11: Opposition PDP has meanwhile rejected the explanation extended by the NC MLA that the youth in question was arrested as he attacked a policeman and tried to snatch his weapon.
Denying his hand in arrest of youth, Mubarak Gul had stated that the youth namely Bilal Ahmad Kuchay of old city tried to snatch the weapon of one police personnel and also tattered the uniform of another police man. "I have nothing to do with his arrest personally, he has been arrested by police for an illegal attempt of snatching weapon and tattering uniform of a police personnel," said Mubarak Gul.
