Mustansir SRINAGAR, Feb 19: The brewing resentment within the ruling National Conference is likely to fuel dissidence and become a rallying point for NC dissidents. About 62 senior leaders and former legislators have convened a meeting in Jammu on Saturday to give vent to their feelings and warn NC leadership for not consulting them in decision making. Sources within the NC informed that there is a strong resentment among the senior leaders and ex-legislators against the leadership particularly in the backdrop of NC's decision of appointing Nasir Aslam Wani and Devinder Singh Rana as provincial presidents for Kashmir and Jammu provinces followed by nominating youngsters for Upper House who are alien to the National Conference. Sources said most of the ex-legislators and senior leaders/workers have decided to raise their voice against what they termed " anarchy" of the NC leadership and their ignorance towards the party workers who have stood by the party through thick and thin.
