‘NC getting intolerant to PDP criticism’ | Observation on Anna as ‘RSS man’ uncalled for | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 10: The war of words and bickering between NC and PDP is continuing unabatedly. While the PDP in capacity of principal opposition party is whipping up and pointing out at certain aspects which appear relevant in the existing scenario, ruling NC , it looks is not ready to take anything nor stand the criticism in the wake of controversy with regard to bribe giving practices as alleged by the one of the party workers in ruling party. Ironically, NC is not even ready to tolerate or accommodate as a matter of suggestion that Anna Hazare who led the crusade against corruption, mooted by PDP. At least that is what the statement issued by senior leader Dr Mustafa Kamal indicates.
Ever since Dr Kamal has been appointed Additional General Secretary and spokesman of the National Conference , he has not only been giving hard hitting statements against the rival party but actually countering their statements on the lines of 'tit for tat' or to say 'paying them in similar coin', rather than taking the criticism in healthy spirit and responding in a politica...

In fact the very object and purpose of a political party is to occupy the seat of power. Ajay was addressing a public meeting at Ajeet Nagar, Gol Gujral yesterday.
Ajay perhaps is not aware of the history of his organization. Here an attempt is not being made to support the PDP. The aim is to set historical records right. The founder of National Conference, Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah first sought an apology from Maharaja Hari Singh for launching the Quit Kashmir Movement in 1946 and, according to renowned historian Shab...

JAMMU, Oct 10: Beware of the so-called Indian civil society groups and their number cannot be counted. They do not represent the civil society. They represent regressive and intolerant forces. They are the mouthpieces of the separatists, communalists and extremists who have been operating in different parts of the country, including Kashmir, since decades, with a view to breaking India into smithereens. He not only challenged the monopoly of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah of the Valley-based and pro-limited accession National Conference, but also challenged the kind of politics he had been indulging in since the 1930s.
