| 4 days police remand to 4 students, 2 still absconding | | Violence in JU campus | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 14: Court today granted four days police remand to four students arrested for violence in Jammu University Campus on Friday. Among arrested included M.S Bhatti, PSA member and three girl students namely Sunandni, law student, Marvi, political science student and Katrine Kour, law student. They were booked under section 307, 147,148 RPC. While the girl students have been lodged in police station women cell, the youth was lodged in Gandhi Nagar lock up.
Police is also launching hunt to arrest the two more students namely Talib Hussain and Manik. They two were booked under same section. Earlier, the arrested students also applied for bail but the same was postponed.
