EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, Oct 30: The Jammu & Kashmir Government is spending crores of rupees in the Information Technology but official documents of the government are misinforming people by publishing wrong data on the state's official portal. Jammu & Kashmir government has perhaps forgotten to update its most important document -web portal of the government www.jamukashmir.nic.in in which Union Minister for Health and Member Parliament Ghulam Nabi Azad is still shown as Member Legislative Assembly Bhaderwah. Union Minister for New & Renewable energy Dr Farooq Abdullah has been shown as MLA Sonawar and Hazratbal Constituencies according to the web portal. This wrong information given by the government may turned fatal for many candidates appearing for some interviews of the outsiders who gather information from the state web portal. Not only this, the name of some Ministers and MLA's were mis-spelt. The name of Minister of State, Ajaiz Ahmed Khan has been wrongly written as Ajaj while the name of MLA Poonch Ajaiz Ahmed Jan has been also been written as Ajaj which speaks itse...

Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 30: Papa's influence over Omar led government has been felt yet again. The former Chief Minister has managed to get a prize post for his friend, Muhammad Yusuf Khan. Yusuf has been appointed as the first chairman of newly created Chenab Valley Power Development Corporation. In his new capacity, Khan will enjoy the status and perks of the chairman NHPC. The newly created corporation intends to set up three power projects capable of generating 212o Mega Watts of power under a joint venture with NHPC and JK SPDC. Mystery shrouds PMGSY cashier's death

KATRA: A cashier in prime minister's grameen sadak yojna (PMGSY) today died under mysterious circumstances at his rented house at Gran Morh in Reasi. Identified as Bishan Singh (45), son of Shiv Nath, he originally hailed from Udhampur. He was found lying dead in the bathroom of his rented house at about 10 am, police sources said. Police took out the body by breaking the bathroom door open and evacuated it to the Reasi district hospital.After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites.Police had registered a case in this connection....

Two boys sustain burns as cylinder catches fire

JAMMU: Two minor boys sustained severe burn injuries after a LPG cylinder caught fire at their residence at Shaheedi Chowk here today.They were identified as Ricky (5) and Reetik (11), sons of Thomas Masih. Police sources said the boys were all alone at home when they went o the kitchen and mishandled the cylinder. As the gas leaked, the cylinder caught fire, resulting in burns to them, the sources added. When the fire spread, the cylinder exploded. Hearing the blast, some neighbours rushed to Masih's house and extinguished the fire with the help of firemen, who too had reached the spot. JAMMU: Over a land dispute, a man was stabbed by five to six youth inside his home at Paloura here today. Police sources identified the victim as Rahul Koul, son of Suraj Koul, and one of the accused as Rajinder Singh. There is a dispute between the two parties over a piece of land which Suraj claims to have purchased from Daljeet Singh, a property dealer. Sources said Narinder Gupta, said to be a Congress leader, Rajinder and their accomplices yesterday locked Rahul, Suraj and their other family members in a room of their house at Paloura and raised fencing around the nearby disputed plot.
